Can a Man Love His Dog Like a Dog Loves Its’ Man?

It’s a proven fact that dogs are loyal to its’ human and the love they have is unconditional. What about humans? Can a man love his dog equally or even more? An American actor Bradley Cooper is a great example of a man who sincerely loves his dogs.

A celebrity, Bradley Charles Cooper born on 5th of January 1979 has had a successful acting career with an estimated net worth of $100 million. “Wedding Crashers”, “The Hangover”, “Limitless”, “Silver Linings Playbook” and our personal favourite “A Star is Born” are just a few of the amazing films he has appeared.

Bradley Cooper doesn’t stand out not only for his amazing acting skills, great looks and a successful career but also for his caring and kindhearted nature. His endless love for his dogs has melted a lot of people’s hearts.

In his life Cooper has had several dogs – German shorthair pointer Samson, chow/retriever mix Charlotte and his most famous dog Labradoodle Charlie.

Bradley Cooper took Samson from animal shelter literally saving him from euthanization. He lived up to 13 years and has a memorable portrait in Cooper’s living room.

While Samson was a real stoic, Charlotte is an affectionate and loving lady who Bradley found from a shelter in Santa Monica, CA. It was love at first sight Bradley admitted. There were rumours that one of his ex-girlfriend Renee Zellweger gave the dog a sandwich, after which Charlotte was taken to the vet. Renee and Bradley split up shortly after the incident. Whether the break up had something to do with the dog we probably will never know. What we do know is that Bradley is crazy about his dogs.

When a woman appears in Cooper’s life she has to love his dog, shared the actor. Isn’t that a reasonable demand considering the fact that a dog is a member of the family who needs attention, love and care just like any other being.

Bradley Cooper has fans from all over the world and probably got many more after the actor-director’s own labradoodle got a role in the most talked about movie of the year “A Star Is Born”.

The movie is about two musicians, Bradley Cooper as Jackson and Lady Gaga as Ally, who are in love and they have a dog, Charlie.

Cooper’s love for dogs is no secret but giving that role to his own dog didn’t have anything to do with nepotism. It actually had the cutest reason.

Cooper told at the film’s premiere: “I wanted this relationship with the dog… Jackson and Ally don’t have a child together but they have a dog, and I wanted it to be part of their story.” “I love dogs,” he added.

Heartwarming, right, there was more. Charlie got his name after the actors’ late father, Charles J. Cooper, a beloved parent. “That meant a lot for him to be in the film,” he said.

Evidently, Charlie being around meant a lot to Lady Gaga too. Bradley confessed that during the making of “A Star Is Born” they were always playing with Charlie.

Cooper recently made a joke that Charlie no longer takes his calls because of the fame. “He always walks away from me unless I have food.” Cooper joked. We believe that they are enjoying the spotlight happily together.

Getting into that story I must admit that a man can definitely love his dog from the bottom of his heart. We don’t have to cast our pets in an award-winning movie to make them happy and their life worth living. A simple act of care can seal the deal too. I encourage you to give your furry friends a warm hug.

You are awesome!
