This weeks’ recipe is mainly for those of you who don’t really have a lot of time for cooking but still want to give your dog healthy homemade food. All you need is a pot and the ingredients to make a quick and simple meal. The best part is that it lasts up to 12 servings, so you don’t have to cook every day! Recipe source: Dog Notebook
Ingredients
4 cups uncooked rice 3 lbs chicken (boneless) 7 cups of water or unsalted bone broth 3 cups of frozen mixed vegetables
Preparation
Cut the chicken meat into small pieces. Add all ingredients into a large pot and bring to a boil. Make sure you stir often. Dial back the heat to medium-low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Happy cooking and munching! Stay tuned for our next weeks’ Recipe for Dogs.
